444C Stealth Black air compressor — product overview
The VIAIR 444C is a 12V, permanently mounted compressor for air suspension and other 200 PSI reservoir-based systems. This stealth black version is identified in the OBA catalogue by manufacturer reference 44442. Select it according to the pressure and airflow your installation requires, as well as the electrical supply and available mounting space.
With a maximum rated working pressure of 200 PSI, the 444C is designed to supply compatible stored-air systems. Its 100% at 100 PSI; 50% at 200 PSI duty rating describes the operating interval at each stated pressure, rather than promising unlimited continuous use at maximum pressure. Actual tank recovery time will depend on the reservoir, starting pressure, system restrictions and installation.

Choosing and installing your compressor
Allow for suitable wiring, circuit protection, a compatible pressure switch, correct fittings, thermal clearance and manufacturer-specified mounting. Compressor airflow stated at 0 PSI is a free-flow figure, not guaranteed output at the system’s operating pressure. Consult VIAIR’s installation documentation before commissioning, and use the original performance tables below for additional reference.
VIAIR’s 444C air compressors feature a newly-developed head assembly, with a patent pending intercooler head, and is capable of a maximum 200 PSI with a 100% duty cycle to power an air suspension system or any other application you may have. The 444C Pack includes a 12-volt Chrome or Stealth Black VIAIR 444C air compressor, which are also equipped with a stainless steel braided leader hose with an inline check valve.
Note: Use thread sealant for proper installation. Thread tape is not recommended. Properly sealed, recommended torque is 12 to 15 ft. lbs.
