Industrial Grade (IG) compressors are specifically designed to fill air reservoir tanks and feature a specialized head assembly that includes a newly-developed, patents pending intercooler for higher heat dissipation. All IG compressors feature outstanding sealing properties to the elements. Additionally, all IG compressors are equipped with stainless steel braided PTFE-lined leader hoses and a separate check valve assembly that serves to protect the compressor by eliminating the possibility of high amperage restarts. IG compressors require the use of a pressure switch that allows operation up to each compressor’s maximum working pressure as well as a relay for installation.
