VIAIR 88P — overview
The VIAIR 88P is a 12V portable compressor intended for portable tyre inflation. Its manufacturer-rated free airflow is 1.47 CFM at 0 PSI, with a maximum working pressure of 120 PSI. VIAIR lists it for tyres up to 33 inches; actual inflation times depend on tyre size, starting pressure, environmental conditions and the air hose arrangement.
The stated duty cycle is 25 minutes at 30 PSI. This is a usage limit measured at the specified pressure, not a claim that the unit can operate continuously at every pressure. Allow cooling time and follow VIAIR’s user manual. The compressor is suited to compatible vehicle tyre inflation and portable air tasks, within the manufacturer’s stated duty cycle and tyre size guidance.

88P is a newly-designed, powerful portable tire inflator, capable of inflating up to 33-inch tires. Attach the heavy duty battery clamps to your vehicle’s battery, and start the engine. Connect to a tire valve stem and turn the unit on. Tire pressure can easily be checked using the gauge incorporated into the top of the unit.
Please Note: The 88P does not work with Presta bicycle valves, unless used with a Presta Valve Adapter.
