VIAIR 440P — overview
The VIAIR 440P is a 12V portable compressor intended for portable tyre inflation. Its manufacturer-rated free airflow is 3.00 CFM at 0 PSI, with a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. VIAIR lists it for tyres up to 37 inches; actual inflation times depend on tyre size, starting pressure, environmental conditions and the air hose arrangement.
The stated duty cycle is 33% at 100 PSI. This is a usage limit measured at the specified pressure, not a claim that the unit can operate continuously at every pressure. Allow cooling time and follow VIAIR’s user manual. The compressor is suited to compatible vehicle tyre inflation and portable air tasks, within the manufacturer’s stated duty cycle and tyre size guidance.
